Pravina and Harish had lived in their West Auckland home for years, but over time, it began to feel like it belonged to someone else. The layout no longer suited their lifestyle. The rooms were dark, the finishes outdated, and the awkwardly shaped living areas—especially the lounge with its sharp angled walls—made the space feel disconnected and closed off. They knew change was needed, but they didn’t know where to start or who to trust. That changed when they saw a renovation project we’d recently completed just down the road. Watching a familiar house transform so dramatically gave them hope—and the push to contact our team.

The Challenges
A structural wall in the lounge that was standing in the way of their vision. We worked closely with their architect to redesign the layout and secure council approval for the changes. Together, we carefully navigated the technical side so Pravina and Harish could focus on their dream.
Before & After
Drag the slider and see the transformation!
Before: The layout no longer suited their lifestyle. The rooms were dark, the finishes outdated, and the awkwardly shaped living areas—especially the lounge with its sharp angled walls—made the space feel disconnected and closed off.
After: We opened up the kitchen and living area into one cohesive, light-filled space. Bathrooms were fully reimagined with floor-to-ceiling tiling, walk-in showers, and sleek fittings. We installed new engineered timber floors throughout and added crisp, modern finishes with paint and lighting to lift the entire mood of the home. A larger front door now welcomes guests with warmth, and a new kwila deck in the backyard offers a stunning outdoor space for entertaining family and friends.
“Today, Pravina and Harish walk into a home that reflects who they are and how they want to live. It’s modern, open, and welcoming—a place to relax, host, and create lasting memories with the people they love.”

The Transformation
Now, it’s a bright, open-plan space with a beautiful kitchen, fully tiled bathrooms, a modern ensuite, and cohesive flooring throughout. We replaced the front door to create a grander entrance and added a kwila deck for hosting family and friends outdoors.
The result is more than a renovation—it’s a reset. A home that feels like them. One they love coming home to, and where new memories will be made.
