For the right person, there is potential to grow into a design leadership role as we build our design-and-build department.

Looking for a closer connection to the people building your designs? Work with Simon, our Director, and Joanna, our Creative Director, in our Remuera office. Explain an option to a homeowner, ask the builder how it will go together and carry that thinking into the next set of drawings.

From idea to detail

01Explore the possibilitiesMeet the brief with concept designs and layout options. Discuss what the homeowner wants, check constraints and work with the QS to understand the cost implications.
02Guide the council consentPrepare and coordinate consent documentation, lodge council applications and respond to requests for further information. Work within your role and licence scope, with specialist input where needed.
03Draw it. Help build it.Prepare construction drawings and details, coordinate with the site and QS team, and resolve design questions as work progresses. Keep the homeowner and delivery team clear on the next decision.

A current LBP Design 2 licence.
Relevant New Zealand residential design and documentation.
ArchiCAD or Revit capability.
A practical understanding of Auckland planning and building requirements.
Clear communication with homeowners and builders.
Availability in our office at least three fixed days each week.

Full time or three-plus days

Work from 415 Remuera Road, Remuera, Auckland 1050. Part-time hours and fixed days will be agreed together.
