Once construction starts, every change goes in writing. A different tile, an extra power point, a wall you decide to take out, or a shift to the completion date — both forms below capture it properly so the contract price and timeline stay clear.
The official Master Builder variation agreement we use for every change once the contract is signed — covers the variation detail, how it’s priced (hourly, fixed, or quoted first), the impact on the completion date, and signatures from both parties.
If the start date, completion date, contract price, or key person on the job needs to shift, we issue this MB-standard notice — recording the change, the reason, and who signed off. Not a variation in itself, but the formal trail for any contract movement.
When the build is complete, we walk through together room by room with the Handover Checklist. The Notice of Practical Completion is what we both sign on handover day — it marks the legal end of the build and starts your 12-month defects period.
